At M & C's Island Shop, we take pride in providing high-quality fishing gear built for real anglers. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for defective or damaged items only.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • Item must be in the same condition that you received it
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order number) is required

Non-returnable items:

  • Used fishing gear (rods, reels, lures, lines that have been used)
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • You will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund
  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear depending on your bank or provider
  • A 5% restocking fee may apply to approved returns
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your return

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged upon arrival

Shipping Returns

Return shipping method is by mail.

  • A prepaid return label will be included in your package at no cost to you for defective or incorrect items
  • For all other returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos of:
    • The item
    • Packaging
    • Shipping label

We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Fishing Gear Disclaimer

Due to the nature of fishing products:

  • Wear and tear from use is not considered a defect
  • Improper use, misuse, or saltwater corrosion due to lack of maintenance is not covered
  • All products are new condition only — we do not sell used gear
