At M & C’s Island Shop, we are committed to delivering your fishing gear safely, efficiently, and with care. Please review our shipping policy below for information on processing times, shipping rates, delivery estimates, and oversized item handling.
Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or public holidays.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

We currently ship to:
- United States
- American Samoa
- Select international destinations

Shipping Options & Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, customs processing, weather, and carrier delays.
Standard Shipping
- United States: 5–10 business days
- American Samoa: 7–14 business days
- International: 10–21 business days
Express Shipping
- United States: 2–5 business days
- American Samoa: 4–8 business days
- International: 5–10 business days, where available
Please note that express shipping speeds apply after order processing is completed.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on product type, package size, weight, destination, and selected shipping method.
General Shipping Rate Tiers
- Orders under $50: Standard shipping rate calculated at checkout
- Orders from $50 to $99.99: Reduced shipping rate may apply
- Orders over $100: May qualify for free standard shipping on eligible items and destinations
Free shipping promotions, when offered, may exclude oversized items such as fishing rods or other long-dimension products.
Estimated Shipping Price Examples
- Small tackle, hooks, lures, leader line, and accessories: Standard rates typically apply
- Medium parcels such as reels, apparel, and bundled tackle: Rates vary based on weight and destination
- Oversized products such as fishing rods: Additional shipping charges may apply due to package length and handling requirements
Oversized Item Shipping Policy
Certain products, especially fishing rods, may be classified as oversized due to their length and special packaging requirements.
For oversized items:
- Additional shipping fees may apply at checkout
- Oversized items may not qualify for free shipping promotions
- Delivery times may be longer than standard estimates
- Separate shipments may be required if your order includes both standard and oversized items
We take extra care when packaging rods and oversized fishing gear to help reduce the risk of shipping damage during transit.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear after the carrier scans the package into their system.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees imposed by their local government or carrier.
M & C’s Island Shop is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please ensure that your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout.
M & C’s Island Shop is not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or misdelivered due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Once a package has been shipped and tracking has been provided, delivery is handled by the shipping carrier.
M & C’s Island Shop is not responsible for:
- Carrier delays
- Lost or stolen packages marked as delivered
- Delivery issues caused by incorrect address entry
If your package appears lost or delayed, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you in working with the carrier.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos of the damaged or incorrect item
We will review the issue and work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Split Shipments
In some cases, orders with multiple items may ship separately depending on product availability, packaging requirements, or warehouse handling. If this happens, tracking information may be provided in multiple emails.
